KASUR:

Two persons were killed over a petty issue in Kasur.

Police registered a case on the complaint by Muhammad Ibrahim, a resident of Satuki. The complainant told the police that his son, Ali, had gone to a milk shop on his bike.

He said that when his son went past the camp of the accused on his way to the milk shop, the wheels of the motorcycle swirled dust in its wake which allegedly bothered the suspects.

The complainant said that the suspects allegedly started abusing his sons.

Later on when his sons Ali, Kashif and Sadaqat, had been returning to their mansion after buying milk, suspects Ahsan Masood Bhatti, Nasir Javed Bhatti and Mahmood Ahmed Bhatti allegedly opened fire on them.

Kashif and Sadaqat sustained serious gunshot wounds. Kashif’s injuries proved fatal, and he died of his injuries. The complainant alleged that the suspects hatched a conspiracy in order to make the incident of firing appear dual.

To do so, the suspects, as per the account of the complainant, killed their own guard in front of the villagers. The complainant pleaded for action against the suspects.

Kot Radha Kishan Police Station registered a case of murder against the suspects.

Last month, four people were killed in Gujranwala.

In Brij Tasha village, a suburb of Alipur Chatta, a land dispute escalated into a deadly confrontation, claiming the lives of a father, his son and a nephew.

The victims, Munawar, Iftikhar and Saad Iftikhar, were allegedly shot dead by suspect Nauman alias Haider during an ongoing dispute over land.

Saad, who had recently passed his CSS exam, courageously tried to save his family members but also fell victim to the alleged assailant’s gunfire.

Preliminary investigations had suggested a long-standing feud between the accused and the victims, with a previous history of violence in Nauman’s past.

The caretaker Punjab chief minister had ordered a report of the incident, urging swift action by the police to apprehend the accused.

In a separate incident in the Tatle Police Station area during the same period, a dispute over a loan repayment turned fatal. Allah Rakha, a 26-year-old man, was shot and killed by his uncle, Qasim, over a disagreement regarding a Rs5,000 loan.
