At least three people including Nawabzada Haroon Raisani, the nephew of former Balochistan chief minister, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani were killed in a firing incident on Wednesday.
Police sources said an armed clash between two groups left three people dead, including Mir Brahamdagh Lehri.
The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta, which saw a rush of people after the arrival of bodies.
Panic prevailed in the area in the aftermath of the clash.
Meanwhile, a loud blast was heard in the Spini Road area of Quetta. The initial investigation suggested that it was a suicide attack.
The suicide bomber blew himself up before targeting anyone.
According to police, the blast took place near a Frontier Corps check post and did not cause any casualties.
Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went under way.
