Malik announces cash reward for informants

Interior Minister Rehman Malik announced cash rewards for any information regarding the whereabouts of missing people.

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik announced cash reward for any information regarding the whereabouts of missing people.

In the meeting,  Malik said 29 out of a total of 275 missing persons have been traced so far and a committee has been set up comprising members of law enforcing agencies and the families of the missing persons.

The interior minister said the government is currently tracing the remaining missing people. He announced Rs500,000 for information of the whereabouts of Masood Janjua, Faisal and Attique-ur-Rehman.

Malik met with the families of the alleged suspect of the failed car bombing in New York, Faisal Shahzad, and Pakistani national Saif-ur-Rehman who has been detained by authorities in Chile.

Sultan Ahmed | 14 years ago | Reply It is an admitted fact matter of missing people is a painful problem for the government and the close relatives Inshaallah the day will come when this painful problem will solve. As for as government efforts are concerned the day is coming it will prove fruitful.
