Muhammad Jahangir Khanji’s funeral will be held after Friday prayers

Muhammad Jahangir Khanji, who held the title of Nawab of Junagadh, passed away after a brief illness, Junagadh Huse spokesperson Moin Khan confirmed.
His health had been a cause for concern, and he was receiving medical treatment at a local hospital for the past few days.

In a solemn announcement made by the spokesperson, the city of Karachi was struck by the news of the demise of Nawab of Junagadh Muhammad Jahangir Khanji.

He hailed from a distinguished lineage, being the grandson of Mohsin Pakistan Nawab Mahabat Khanji and the son of former Sindh governor Colonel Nawab Dilawar Khanji of the state of Junagadh.

He leaves behind a grieving family, including his mother Mussarat Jahan Begum of Junagadh, his son Nawabzada Ali Murtaza Khanji, his daughter Princess Maryam Khanji, as well as his brothers Nawab Alam Gir Khanji and Zaheer Khanji, as well as his sister Nawabzada Alia Khanji.

The news of Nawab Jahangir Khanji's passing away reverberated across the nation, with senior members of the Junagadh State Council and former federal ministers Dr Haji Muhammad Tayyab and Engineer Muhammad Iqbal Qureshi expressing their condolences.

They described the demise of Nawab Jahangir Khanji as a national tragedy and offered their prayers that he receives a high place in heaven. They also prayed for strength and patience for the bereaved family during this difficult time.

The funeral prayer of Nawab Muhammad Jahangir Khanji is scheduled to take place at Junagadh House after Friday prayers. Many mourners are expected to attend the funeral to pay their respects to the late nawab.

Following the funeral prayers, Nawab Jahangir Khanji will be laid to rest in the ancestral cemetery of Moach Goth, a place that holds deep historical significance for his family and the people of Junagadh.
