The Lahore Arts Council (LAC) organised a soulful event titled “Sufi Sham Bayad-e-Mian Bakhsh” to pay tribute to the renowned Sufi poet Mian Muhammad Bakhsh.

The event featured captivating performances by renowned singers Imran Shaukat and Shabana Abbas, who skilfully rendered Bakhsh’s famous verses, garnering tremendous applause from the audience. Mian Muhammad Bakhsh, a highly esteemed poet, left a remarkable literary legacy with his 18 books, including the masterpiece “Saiful Maluk,” which he authored at the age of 33.

Alhamra Executive Director Muhammad Saleem Sagar said the evening aimed to promote the message of unity encapsulated within the words of the poet.
