Pakistan has denounced a UN report on conflict-related sexual violence for not including crimes of violence committed in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu Kashmir (IIOJK) and the Israeli-occupied Palestine territories.
Speaking at the UN Security Council, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram urged the secretary-general to rectify the omissions in the report and list India and Israel among those perpetrating conflict-related sexual violence, in future reports to the Security Council.

The Pakistani envoy said that since India’s unilateral and illegal measures of August 5, 2019, conflict-related violence and harassment and humiliation of women and girls in IIOJK had increased significantly. He called for a faithful implementation of all Security Council resolutions related to protracted conflicts.
