Sindh Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, has stated that the chargers for electric buses have arrived, and the buses will be back on the roads of Karachi from Monday.

Speaking at a press conference at Archives Complex Clifton on Sunday, Sharjeel, accompanied by CM's Special Assistant for Investment and Public Private Partnership Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, announced that the provincial government is taking measures to provide the best travel facilities to its citizens. In this regard, there is good news that another fleet of buses will arrive in Karachi on Monday.

The information minister mentioned that, on the instructions of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and CM Murad Ali Shah, the number of busses will continue to increase to enhance urban travel facilities, with new buses replacing the old ones. He also highlighted the launch of a bus monitoring app, which has made people's lives easier during this period of inflation.

Sharjeel claimed that the Sindh government has undertaken significant work in mega projects. The government hospitals in Sindh offer excellent healthcare facilities, benefiting people from Afghanistan and Iran as well.

Furthermore, he announced that work is commencing on the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone, which will bring numerous investment and employment opportunities. The Sindh government aims to facilitate investors through a streamlined process. There are also plans to establish a plant for electric buses in Sindh.

Naveed Qamar emphasised the need to create a business-friendly environment for investors and businesspeople. The Sindh government has been working on the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone for a considerable period, and the development work for this zone will begin on July 15. He described this as a significant milestone.
