Police seize narcotics, arrest six

Police apprehended six suspected drug dealers and confiscated narcotics from them on Sunday.

According to an official, a team led by Saddar Police Station SHO Umar Daraz conducted checking at the Toll Tax Chowk on Satyana Road and in Madinabad, during which Ghulam Mustafa and Umar, residents of Bawewala, were stopped and searched. Omar was found possessing 3,7kgs of drugs.

Another operation was carried out by Thikriwala SHO Hasan Siddique Cheema, resulting in the arrest of Aamir in the 67JB area. The police seized 10kgs of hashish from the suspect.

Meanwhile, Gulberg police conducted raids near Dhobi Ghat and Tower Chowk, where they apprehended Ahmed Ali with 1.5kgs and Sharif with 2.5kgs of hashish.

In another raid, Mansoorabad SHO Khawaja Imran Manan intercepted suspected drug dealer Nafees in Chowki Bazaar and seized Ice from him.
