Politicians urged to work for economy

We should work together for charter of economy, development projects like CPEC, welfare of the people, says Rehman

ISLAMABAD:

Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman on Saturday urged the political parties to work for strengthening the political system, and economy of the country.

We should work together for the charter of economy and development projects like China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, she said while talking to a private television channel.

The country can make progress if everyone comes forward for the welfare of the people, she added.

Commenting on the next prime minister after the general elections, the minister maintained that people would decide about the next leader of the country.

However, she said voters would choose those candidates who have delivered for the welfare of the people.
