Property dispute: Clash claims four lives

Old clash over ownership of property between rival tribes of Tareen and Kakar turns violent.

QUETTA: At least four people were killed and four others sustained injuries in a clash between two tribes over a property issue, a spokesman of the Levies Force said on Monday.

An old clash over the ownership of property between rival tribes of Tareen and Kakar turned violent when both used weapons against each other, said the Levies official, adding that as a result of the firing, four persons of Tareen tribe died on the spot, while four members of Kakar tribe suffered injuries.

The injured were rushed to a hospital in Pishin. Names of the wounded could not be ascertained and the Levies have started a probe into the incident.
