Miscreants fired indiscriminately at a well-known cafe for not delivering food, due to which a waiter and two gypsy girls who had been having food at the cafe were seriously injured.
Fear spread in the area due to the incident. Social circles have expressed their concern over non-inclusion of terrorism provisions in the case.
The accused, Meher Roshi, surrendered to the police allegedly on some assurance given by a political figure.
Sources said that Muhammad Bilal alias Bilal Dona had called a café and asked for food to be delivered at his home.
The owner of the cafe excused from serving the order since he had been short of employees.
This refusal infuriated Muhammad Bilal alias Bilal Dona and Ali Usman alias Meher Roshi.
They hopped on their motorcycle and went to the cafe armed with weapons.
Muhammad Bilal alias Bilal Dona drew pistols and started firing in the cafe indiscriminately.
Due to the firing, an employee of the café, Muhammad Rizwan, and two gypsy girls, Irum Bibi and Aina Bibi, sustained serious injuries.
