Police say cause of death yet to be ascertained

A fourth-year student from Kabirwala was found dead in a medical college hostel in Khurrianwala.

Taimur Ahmed had gone to sleep in his room but did not wake up in the morning. A friend attempted to rouse him, only to discover that he had passed away.

The local police arrived at the scene and took custody of the body to initiate legal proceedings.

After the completion of the legal formalities, the authorities handed over the body to the family members.

The police said the cause of the death was yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, a three-year-old boy was crushed to death by a mini-truck while crossing the Jhang Road along with his mother.

Subhan, son of Amanul Haq from Thikriwala died on the spot after being run over by the speeding vehicle.

Following legal formalities, the authorities handed over the body to the family.

Police said they were searching for the driver who had fled after the accident.
