LAHORE:

Alkhidmat Foundation launched a major plantation drive as part of its "Smog-Free Lahore" drive. In collaboration with the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), the organization orchestrated a grand program near Lahore Airport on Thursday, where 3,000 volunteers gathered to plant 15,000 saplings on a seven-acre plot of land, establishing a magnificent "Urban Forest."

Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Dr Mushtaq Mangat emphasized the urgency of combatting smog as he addressed the event on Thursday. He highlighted that tree plantation is an ongoing act of charity and stressed the need for concerted efforts to plant more trees across the country. Dr Mangat inaugurated the campaign.
