Shah Rukh Khan fulfills cancer patient's wish, promises visit and aid

Shah Rukh Khan, the beloved superstar of Indian cinema, recently made a 60-year-old cancer patient's dream come true by granting her wish to meet him. Shivani Chakraborty, a die-hard fan of the actor, has been battling terminal cancer for years. 

Despite her illness, her love for cinema, especially for Khan, remained unwavering. After her heartfelt desire to meet the superstar was shared on social media, Khan personally reached out to her via a video call, bringing immense joy to Shivani and her family, reported India Today. 

Shivani had cherished the dream of meeting Khan at least once in her life. News of her heartfelt wish quickly spread across social media platforms, catching the attention of the actor himself. The compassionate actor wasted no time and promptly arranged a video call with Shivani, speaking to her for nearly 40 minutes.

During their heartfelt conversation, Khan expressed his concern for Shivani's health and promised to support her financially in her fight against the terminal illness. He offered words of encouragement, prayed for her speedy recovery, and even recited a special prayer for her well-being.

Shivani's daughter, Priya, shared details of the video call with Khan in an interview with the publication. She expressed her gratitude, mentioning that Khan promised to visit their Kolkata home and enjoy a homemade fish curry from Shivani's kitchen. Khan's playful request was that the fish should be boneless. 

Priya joyfully recounted her conversation, mentioning how SRK also promised to attend her wedding, adding a personal touch to the bond they formed. "SRK promised my mum that he would come to my wedding and have fish curry made in her kitchen provided the fish did not have bones," she stated.

Khan's unwavering love and care for his fans have once again shone through as he fulfilled the heartfelt wish of an unwell fan. These gestures of kindness demonstrate why King Khan continues to be adored by millions, not just for his on-screen charisma, but also for his genuine compassion and connection with his fans.
