The Rangers and police in a joint operation apprehended three suspects, identified as Tariq alias Qari, Alamgir, and Sajjad in Machhar Colony.
The arrests were made on an intelligence-based information in connection with the robbery and drug-dealing activities. Illegal weapons and drugs were recovered from the arrested suspects.
The spokesperson revealed that the detained individuals have confessed to more than 30 thefts and robberies in various areas of the city. The accused also provided information about their accomplices involved in organised drug trafficking. Efforts are underway to arrest the remaining outlaws.
The spokesperson urged the public to report similar individuals to the nearest Rangers Check Post promptly, Rangers Helpline 1101, or Rangers Helper WhatsApp number 03479001111 via call or SMS, assuring the informer’s confidentiality.
