Scared: Hailey Bieber on embracing parenthood with husband Justin Bieber

While Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s Instagram posts are full of heart-warming pictures and positive relationship vibes; even the popular duo has its fair share of reservations about starting a family together. In a recent interview with The Sun, Hailey admitted to wanting a baby but being too ‘scared’ about taking the next step with 29-year-old Justin, whom she has been married to for five years. Hailey even expressed that she often finds herself ‘in tears’ over the subject.

The American model went on to explain the root cause of her fear, stating that the ‘criticism’ directed towards her husband and friends was already a challenge to face. Adding a baby to the equation who would undoubtedly also receive the same amount of hate was something that Hailey found ‘unimaginable’. Explaining further, Hailey Bieber told the source about her commitment to providing her ‘future children’ with a secure environment, adding that she would give them the utmost ‘love’ and ‘protection’.

The couple has often been seen all happy-faced and smiling in pictures scattered around social media with Hailey’s 2-year-old niece, Iris. So, it is clear that the two share a mutual love for children. But the two have contrasting feelings about the right time to start a family.  Looking back at some of Justin’s posts on Instagram, the Canadian singer captioned a post in 2018 saying he wanted to have babies with his wife ‘next season’. But of course, being the sweet husband he is, he later clarified on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that there were still some things Hailey wanted to accomplish ‘as a woman’.

Justin does not believe that it is a bad thing to put other accomplishments before having a baby and fully supports his wife’s right over her own body. Following the interview, there were plenty of instances where the word ‘baby’ was thrown around during a lot of conversations with the couple. With Justin even stating in his hit documentary that he wanted to ‘start trying’.

But as of right now, Hailey believes that she is “far too young” to have a baby and has requested her Instagram followers multiple times to “stop bothering her about it.” Looks like there won’t be a baby Bieber anytime soon.
