PESHAWAR:

The caretaker Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) ministers have bypassed the provincial chief minister by going straight to the governor for getting issues of their constituencies resolved.

On Monday, Muhammad Ali Shah, Manzoor Afridi, and Rehmat Salam Khattak separately met with Haji Ghulam Ali to discuss the problems faced by the people in their respective areas.

During the meetings, Shah discussed the traffic situation in Malakand Division, particularly in Kalam, Bahrain, and other areas of Naran and Kaghan, due to the recent floods and heavy rains.

Governor Ali stressed the need for effective communication between relevant institutions, such as C&W and NHA, to quickly resolve these issues and provide relief to the affected people.

He expressed his sympathy over the damage caused by the natural disasters, assuring the delegation that the provincial government was taking all steps necessary to provide relief to the affected people.

Senator Maulana Abdul Rasheed informed the governor about the damages caused to crops and houses in Bajaur district due to the hailstorm and rains. The governor immediately contacted caretaker Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation Taj Afridi, directing him to take immediate steps for the rehabilitation and relief of the victims in Bajaur and other affected areas.
