YouTubers Irfan Junejo and Ducky Bhai have waved the white flags and would like for their fans and the media to do the same. The social media personalities have revealed that they cleared things out with one another because they knew their words would soon be blown out of proportion.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Irfan noted that for starters, he did not name or single out Ducky or Maaz [Safder] to explain why he was not sharing enough content or the kind of content that gets instant viewership on YouTube. "Open challenge! If those of you who came here thinking there's some controversy going on because you saw a small snippet of me linked to Ducky and Maaz, then I challenge you to send me the part where I said 'Ducky aur Maaz apni families dikha ke views kamarae hain (Ducky and Maaz are using their families for views). If you are able to do this, I will shut down my channel," declared Irfan.

He then reiterated and explained what he had actually said in a podcast that was misrepresented. "I had said that someone is making vlogs with their families, someone with their bikes, someone with their phones and someone with their food. The kind of content that the audience is giving millions of views to is in front of everyone. I cannot give the audience what it wants. I aired my grievance with the audience, not the vloggers. We only press publish. The audience tells us what they want to see by engaging or not engaging."

Irfan held that he knew things would get messy, because of which he called Ducky at 2:00 am to discuss what had happened. "Not the best time to message anyone, but I messaged Ducky last night and cleared things out with him. As for Maaz, he is like my younger brother. He greets me with respect and I reciprocate the same. So, for the love of God, do not create such controversies and fights. You all will laugh and move on but people will get hurt and the negativity will fester."

Ducky also shared a video echoing similar sentiments, except, he asked his audience to take things lightly. "You guys have stopped enjoying. Junejo and I cleared it all out last night. He doesn't have a problem with me, I don't have a problem with him. He didn't take my name and even if he would have, I wouldn't have had a problem with it. I told him I'm just having fun on Twitter. I'm home making my content and money. Junejo's home, making his content and money. People who love to create fights are also making money -- they're getting these clicks on their blogs and magazines. But what are you all doing? If you want to fight, at least make sure you're also getting something out of it."

He added, "I've come to realise that our people have nothing for entertainment, which is why wherever they see a fight happening, they pull up their chairs with popcorns to watch."

For the uninitiated

In the podcast, Irfan had said that he cannot make videos roping in his wife or family, even though that will get his channel traction. "YouTube does not have a metric of paying a creator for the time he invests in a video. I want to make a food documentary on the lives of people who make the best biryani in Karachi. To make that, even with the most basic work, it will take at least two weeks. My platform is also huge but even then, the video will not get more than 200,000 views, compared to ‘Saying Yes to Wife for 24 hours’ videos. I’m not throwing shade at anyone or calling a creator bad or good. I’m merely talking about what the audience prefers,” he had said.

The star vlogger further added that his goal now is to look for alternate sources of income through his Instagram and TikTok platforms so that he can work on ideas that he is passionate about for YouTube.

Following this, a blog post alluded that Irfan had targeted Maaz and Ducky in the podcast, which the latter shared on his Twitter. "People love to ignore the fact that I had the same number of views (2 million on an average) way before my marriage," tweeted Ducky with a sad faced emoji and a meme.

When a tweep pointed out that Irfan had specified, he was not throwing shade at anyone in particular, Ducky tweeted, "Nobody in Pakistan made a honeymoon vlog in 2023 except for me. Nobody except Maaz made a 'Saying yes to wife' video. It's easy to point someone without saying [their] name. I still love Irfan though. No offence at all. I just wanted to clear my point. Ducky Bhai was Ducky Bhai before and after marriage. Was also making same amount of money, getting millions of views, sitting on a chair playing a video game when vlogging wasn't even on my channel."
