Banning Yahoo!, Google, MSN

ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to your article “Pakistan may ban Yahoo!, Google, MSN” (June 23). I have a suggestion. How about filing a petition against the petitioner of the case for paying damages to people whose livelihoods will be endangered as a result of such a frivolous petition? People using social networking sites such as Facebook to do business, using email facilities to communicate with customers, or writing online to earn a better living were not doing anything blasphemous. Who is going to compensate them for their losses? They ought to consider suing authorities limiting access to the internet.
