ISLAMABAD:

Following a disagreement between PML-N Ministers Murtaza Javed Abbasi and Javed Latif during a session of the National Assembly, the situation escalated into a physical altercation with both parties resorting to the use of vulgar language and inappropriate remarks on Wednesday.

A quarrel broke out between PML-N Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi and the party minister Javed Latif during a National Assembly session.

Murtaza Javed Abbasi and Javed Latif attempted to physically assault each other, while using harsh language and inappropriate words.

Minister of State for Interior Abdul Rehman Kanju, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar and other members intervened to defuse the situation.

Law Minister Tarar took Murtaza Javed Abbasi to sit near Khawaja Asif.

The situation escalated when Minister Javed Latif was not given permission to speak in the House.

On the other hand, PML-N Member of National Assembly (MNA) Saaira Bano walked out of the session as she was not granted permission to speak. Saaira Bano said that people were speaking on their own as there was no permission to speak. We are not even given the opportunity to speak.
