Security forces recover suicide vests, explosives

Sources further informed that militants fired injuring a security personnel.

SWAT:

Security forces have averted terror attacks on the occasion of Eidul Fitr by recovering suicide vests and large quantities of explosives during a search operation in Mangaltan and its suburbs of Char Bagh Tehsi here on Sunday.

According to security sources the entire area of Char Bagh was cordoned off upon receiving reports of militants in the area.

The forces conducted a thorough search operation, in which two militants, including a key militant commanded surrendered , while a suicide jacket and explosives were recovered from the hideouts of militants.

Sources further informed that the militants fired injuring a security personnel. The surrendered militants have confessed to planning subversive activities on Eid.
