Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on Monday expressed satisfaction over the approval of the draft bill for the establishment of Ziarat Valley Development Authority by the provincial assembly.
In a statement issued here, the CM said Ziarat, the main tourist attraction in Balochistan, was also famous for Ziarat Residency, where the Father of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, spent his last days.
The chief minister said, “Ziarat is a tourist spot and there are ancient forests of juniper which add to the beauty of Ziarat valley.” The establishment of the development authority would be an important step towards its proper development.
He said the provincial government was aware of the tourism potential and historical significance of Ziarat and the purpose of establishing the authority was to complete the ongoing development projects there in a timely manner.
