Taxpayer Harassment: FBR officials asked not to harass traders

Members of the LCCI delegation complained had complained about FBR officials harassing them.

Members of the Intelligence and Investigation Cell of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) have been directed not to harass traders who have come to Lahore from other cities.


Talking to a delegation of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), FBR’s Intelligence and Investigation director, Sumaira Nazir, said that she had directed the FBR staff not to harass non-resident traders who bought their products from the markets of Lahore. Earlier, the members of the LCCI delegation complained had complained about the harassment.
