KARACHI:

Leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Khurram Sher Zaman, Haleem Adil Sheikh and Arslan Taj alleged that some elements wanted to kill Imran Khan as they had no other option.

PTI leaders termed Imran Khan their red line and warned that they would jam the entire country if Imran Khan was arrested. While holding a press conference at Insaf House Karachi on Sunday, PTI Parliamentary Leader in Sindh Assembly Khurram Sher Zaman claimed that they fear that Imran would be martyred just like Zulfiqar Bhutto and Benazir. Zaman warned the Sindh government of a strong public reaction if anything happened to Imran.

Sindh Assembly Opposition Leader Haleem Adil Sheikh said that the purpose of PDM's drama is to escape from election; "we will continue to fight against their conspiracies and are ready to face the government actions." He said that if Imran Khan is arrested, the whole country will be jammed. Arsalan Taj Ghumman said that when the PML-N members are called to court, their stomachs ache.

IG Islamabad should behave like a police officer, not a political party worker.
