LAHORE: Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr Asim Hussain said on Thursday that the government was trying to overcome the energy crisis in the country. Talking to the media after an Iftar dinner hosted by All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma), he said that energy and natural resources were national assets. He said that the coming generations would receive the benefits of the government’s long-term energy plan. He said that the current energy crisis was actually the creation of the previous government.
