Leave our boy alone: Urvashi Rautela, Naseem Shah's brief exchange sparks meme-fest on Twitter

Indian actor simply wished the Pakistani pacer a 'happy birthday'

Entertainment Desk February 16, 2023

Indian actor Urvashi Rautela has raised eyebrows, once again, this time for wishing Pakistani pacer, Naseem Shah, a happy birthday. Shah, who celebrated his 20th birthday yesterday, replied to Rautela’s message with a “Thank you!” but Pakistanis feel compelled to comment further on their brief and almost insignificant interaction.

Rautela had wished Naseem in a comment under his Instagram post, in which the pacer congratulated Shadab Khan on his wedding. The actor wrote, "Happy Birthday Naseem Shah. Congratulations on being conferred with honorary DSP rank.” Naseem acknowledged her greeting by commenting," Thank you".

In order to see Urvashi's post, Instagram users will have to follow her, otherwise her comment won't be visible to them.

Now, several Twitter users have shared their sentiments on the micro-blogging site and they all feel strongly about Shah remaining focused on cricket. Displaying their possessiveness for the young lad, some have also urged Rautela to "stay away" from their boy, making memes to tone down their frustration a notch.

Seriously, though, who did this?

If you love them, let them go

Sorry, not sorry

Oops...

At least they said 'please'

Recurring theme of the occassion

For the unintiated

Should we be worried?

Last year, Rautela had shared an Instagram reel featuring Pakistan pacer after the Asia Cup game on September 4. The "fan edit" saw Rautela enjoying the India-Pakistan match, supposedly smiling at Shah after he's spotted laughing about something with Atif Aslam's Koi Tujhko Na Mujhse Chura Le playing in the background.

As people began trolling her, Rautela deleted the clip.
