Google's new updates make in-app browsers better on Android

Google will add partial custom tabs and auto-filling passwords to make the experience smoother

Tech giant Google is working on improving the in-app browsing experience for android users.

As a part of the upgrade, Google will add partial custom tabs and auto-filling passwords to make the experience smoother when checking links and other sources in apps.

Through partial custom tabs, it would be easier to control the initial launch height of the tab, which will eventually allow users to interact with both the app and in-app browser side by side.

With the help of the auto-filling password feature, users can fill in passwords and email addresses when a log-in tab pops up without leaving the app.

For context, previously, the user was removed entirely from their current app and directed towards the link.
