SPDA Technical Vocational Center Peshawar | 1 year ago | Reply Generally in Pakistan and specifically in KPK women are facing so many problems they are limited to their homes due to patriarchal and restricted Pashtun culture. On one hand they have no equal access to education health and job opportunities etc. on the other hand they are victims of domestic violence. Specifically widows orphans and women with disabilities encounter many disadvantages in their societies and are often subjected to stigma and discrimination. They remain largely marginalized disproportionately poorer frequently unemployed due to non-provision of technical skills and cultural barriers. Furthermore they are largely excluded from civil and political processes and are overwhelmingly voiceless in matters that affect them and their society. It is indeed a fact that when women are empowered to participate and lead the process of development their entire community benefits as their involvement and participation creates more opportunities and encourages other women
