The current caretaker government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) has decided to remove the legal officers of the Advocate General Office who were appointed in the PTI government.
The Advocate General of K-P was removed a few days ago and Amir Javed was appointed in his place, after which more law officers are expected to be relieved soon.
According to sources, the provincial government has completed consultation for the appointment of new law officers and it is likely that a notification for the induction will be issued soon.
Sources said that the law officers appointed in the previous government will be removed. Some officers have been holding the position for many years. It is also being said that some of the officers may be retained in the current setup.
Sources further claimed that the consultation between the provincial government, Governor K-P and Advocate General Office has been completed to finalize the names of the new law officers, and the notification is likely to be issued soon.
It should be noted that a few days ago the caretaker provincial government appointed Amir Javed.
