KARACHI:

Police arrested at least six accused on Tuesday in connection with an attack on a film crew shooting at a house in the Pir Illahi Bux Colony area of the city a day earlier.

They then proceeded to manhandle the crew that left several injured.

One of the cast members told The Express Tribune that the people who attacked had initially demanded that they be paid for the shoot to go ahead. Upon being turned down, they became aggressive. Shortly after, reinforcements arrived and dozens of people tried to enter the house where the shoot was taking place.

The cast member said that they had locked themselves inside a room while some crew members fought off the attackers until the police arrived and the attackers dispersed.
