Rakhi Sawant called the police on her husband Adil Khan Durrani, a few weeks after they announced their marriage. Khan was allegedly arrested on reports of domestic violence and extramarital affair levelled by Sawant.
According to the Times Of India, Khan went to meet his wife at her place. Meanwhile, Oshiwara Police reached the location and arrested him. As per reports, Sawant earlier filed an FIR against her husband. This development came after the Main Hoon Na actor was spotted at the police station in Mumbai, filing a case against her husband.
While the exact reason for the arrest is still unknown, Sawant has made several allegations against her husband. Speaking to the media on Monday, she accused her husband of not giving money for her mother, Jaya Bheda’s treatment and said that she died because of him. Sawant also claimed that Khan has left her and is living with his alleged girlfriend, Tanu.
She also accused him of torturing and beating her and of using her as a ladder to become a star in Bollywood. In addition to that, Sawant claimed that he took all of her money and is an alleged criminal with multiple cases registered against him.
The publication, however, claimed that right after Sawant was spotted at the Oshiwara police station, she went to an eatery in Mumbai with her husband. A video of the duo having dinner together went viral on social media where they were also seen feeding each other. Earlier this month, Sawant confirmed her wedding with her beau, revealing that her secret wedding took place on July 2, last year. She also converted to Islam for her husband.
