A high-level meeting regarding the prevention of street crimes was held under the chairmanship of the IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon. The IG was briefed about the operational strategy, investigation and performance to curb street crimes at the district level. Street crimes and criminals are our target, meeting was informed.
He said that Karachi police ensure stricter snap-checking and patrolling. Moreover, the accountability process has started regarding the performance of police officer at police station level. All SHOs should focus on their performance against crimes. A police officer who cannot perform well is unsuitable for an important post.
