All RPOs in province reshuffled

Regional Police Officer also transferred, directed to report to Services and General Administration Department

LAHORE:

Three more Regional Police Officers (RPOs) have also been transferred by the interim Punjab government on Saturday.

A day earlier (on Friday), the orders of transfer of at least seven RPOs were issued. With the recent RPOs’ transfers, all the ranges of Punjab have got a new RPO. Munir Masood Marth, Regional Police Officer, Gujranwala, has been transferred and directed to report to Services and General Administration Department and Dr Haider Ashraf awaiting posting S&GAD have been appointed Gujranwala RPO.

Muhammad Akhtar Abbass, Gujrat Regional Police Officer, has also been transferred, and directed to report to Services and General Administration Department. Haider Ashraf has been assigned additional charge of the post of Gujrat Regional Police Officer.

Dr Moen Masood Regional Police Officer has also been transferred, and directed to report to Services and General Administration Department. DIG Sohail Ahmad Chaudhry awaiting posting in S&GAD has been transferred and posted as Regional Police Officer, Multan.
