In a bizarre turn of events, Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma jokingly cautioned South Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli to increase his security after he quipped about being a part of an assassination squad set out to kill RRR director.
In a series of tweets, the AAG filmmaker shared the video of SS Rajamouli's conversation with Hollywood director James Cameron at the Critics' Choice Award where RRR won Best Foreign Language Film.
The acclaimed director, inebriated, posted the said video from the official handle of the movie and wrote in a series of tweets, "From Dada Sahab Phalke onwards till now, no one in the history of Indian cinema including SS Rajamouli could have imagined that an Indian director someday will go through this moment."

He added, "And sir, SS Rajamouli, please increase ur security because there is a bunch of filmmakers in India who out of pure jealousy formed an assassination squad to kill you, of which I am also a part." RGV concluded, "[I] am just spilling out the secret because I am four drinks down."

In the aforementioned video, Rajamouli and Cameron could be seen in a discussion, as the South Indian filmmaker shared his love for the Hollywood filmmaker's work saying, "I saw all your movies. Big inspiration. From Terminator, Avatar, and Titanic. Everything. Loved your work."
To this, the acclaimed director responded, "Thank you. That's right. Now watching your characters. It's just such a feeling to watch them. And the setup! Your fire, water story. Reveal after the reveal. And then you show what happened in the back story."
Cameron added, It's like all of them are a homely setup. Why he's doing what he's doing and the twists and turns and the friendship and eventually it gets to a point where he can't even kill him when the other reverses...It's just so, so powerful."
