Woman allegedly kidnapped, gang-raped

The victim and her husband were robbed by suspects in police uniform

Armed man clad in police uniforms sexually assaulted a woman after kidnapping her and her husband, in addition to stealing cash, gold, jewelry and mobile phones from them.

Police registered a case under various provisions against five accused, including the two named suspects and started raids to arrest them.

According to the complaint filed by a resident of Garh Fateh Shah, he and his wife were guests at the home of a relative named Muzamil Hussain and a friend named Abdul Razzaq.

The armed suspects, Shahid, Mian Khan and three others, arrived at the house at midnight in a black car.

The accused forced the complainant and his wife into the vehicle and drove to Mian Khan's residence, where they allegedly gang-raped her.

They also allegedly stole her mobile phone worth Rs50,000, Rs25,000 in cash, two gold earrings and one ring.

The accused dumped the victims at Mushtaq Chowk in the morning and fled. Garh Police registered a case under section 375A against the named accused and started searching for them.

Meanwhile, City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani took notice of the matter and formed a committee under SP Saddar Division to investigate.

They are conducting raids to arrest the accused.

Police investigation reports claim that the victim and her husband were kidnapped by someone who arrived in a police uniform.
