‘Thieves’ rough up headmaster for reporting theft

Police arrest a suspect, conducing raids to catch others

Police have arrested suspect for stealing equipment from a school and beating up the headmaster for reporting the theft.

The school headmaster who reported the incident of theft of furniture, solar panels and other valuables of his school was brutally attacked with sticks by the gang leader of theives. The thieves also warned the principal to close the school and leave the town.

Wazir Hussain Rind, the headmaster of the primary school located in Mehran Colony of Sakrand, had informed the police about the theft of fans, solar plates, batteries, furniture and other items from the school.

Although he had not nominated anyone, a group of men stormed the school and tortured the headmaster, injuring him injuries while also recording video of his humiliation. The goons told him to leave the school and mover out of town or they would kill him.

The headmaster along with the parents of the students filed a report at the Sakrand police station and demanded that the teachers be protected and the thieves be booked for interfering in the government work and stealing the goods from the school. The police filed an FIR and arrested one of the accused, while raids are being conducted to arrest the other.
