Singer Meesha Shafi has come out in support of her fellow fraternity members, many of whom are currently dealing with the crisis of leaked phone numbers – courtesy of Feroze Khan’s very public declaration of having served legal notices to his peers.

The Muaziz Sarif singer has assured all those being called out for “defamation” that “he’s going to lose in every way in the end.” Without naming names, Shafi shared a report about Khan serving these notices on her Instagram Stories to write, “Having suffered the most mala fide defamation case, I just want to tell anyone who might be stressing out because of this stupid case that he’s going to lose in every way in the end.”

She went on to add that “karma is real,” and declared, “All my solidarity with each and every one of you, especially Alizeh.” In another Story, Shafi tagged director Musaddiq Malek and actor Aiman Khan to comfort them. “Don’t you worry about a thing,” she wrote with a smiling emoji.

The defamation notices have been served to Syeda Aliza Sultan, directors Musaddiq Malek and Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, actors Osman Khalid Butt, Mira Sethi, Minal Khan, Aiman Khan, Sarwat Gilani, Yasir Hussain and Farhan Saeed alongside singer Asim Azhar.

Last year, several celebrities lent support to Khan's former wife after she accused the actor of physical and psychological abuse during their four years of marriage. Many celebrities came out in her support, asking for Khan's accountability.

Speaking to The Express Tribune, Khan's lawyer shared, "The artists that have been served have made several false claims on social media – directly or indirectly – about Feroze Khan. [This gives] them a chance to clarify their position on the accusations. Either bring forth proof to support your claim or apologise publicly."
