KARACHI: Women Action Forum (WAF) is seeking a political solution for the ongoing violence in Karachi. In a meeting, on Thursday, the WAF members said the situation in Karachi has unfolded in an organised manner and needs to be handled with extreme care. “Calling the army to control the daily incidents of murder and violence is not a solution,” said a senior WAF member, Mehnaz Rehman. She said it was the collective responsibility of all elected public representatives and workers as well as leaders of political parties to come together and formulate a collective solution for Karachi.
