Five women and a child of the same family died, while three people got injured in a collision between a van and a tractor trolley at Bulri Shah Karim road in Tando Muhammad Khan district.
Reportedly, a lawyer practising in Sindh High Court advocate Amina Arain was among the deceased.
According to details, the family was travelling to Tando Muhammad Khan to attend an engagement ceremony. Two women among the deceased, Amina and Pathani Jamali, died on the spot while the other deceased, identified as Nusrat Jamali, Kinza Jamali, Nusrat Jamali and seven-year-old Areeba Jamali, succumbed to their injuries during treatment in the hospital.
The injured persons, including the vehicle’s driver, are under treatment at Liaquat University Hospital, Hyderabad.
