Memon denies shortage of wheat in Sindh

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that there is no shortage of wheat in the province.

"We have sufficient stocks of wheat till March, next year. Sindh is the only province where flour is available at the rate of Rs.65 per kg as the Sindh government has been giving billions of rupees in subsidy on it," Memon said while speaking at a press conference at the Sindh Archives Complex on Wednesday.

Memon said that the Authorities to crack down on use of vehicles with tinted glasses, pressure horns, bar lights, including through mobile vans and stalls. "Contact numbers have also given to lodge complaints, if there is any," he added.

He claimed that millions of people from all over the country paid homage to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on her 15th martyrdom anniversary of the PPP leader. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari delivered a historic speech in which he spoke about the country's present situation and his successful foreign visits, he said.

Memon said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan had isolated Pakistan internationally due to his poor foreign policy, but Bilawal has worked tirelessly to improve Pakistan's relations with all countries.
