PESHAWAR:

The provincial government is sowing the seeds of hatred in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province “after looting for nine years and bankrupting it”.

These views were expressed by Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Jamiat Ulema e Islam Fazl (JUI-F) spokesperson Abdul Jalil Jan while talking to the media.

Jan said that the chief minister is creating problems for the people of the province by ignoring the constitutionally installed prime minister and the governor.

By dint of majority, a piece of legislation is being passed by the provincial assembly to waive off the helicopter expenses of millions of rupees, he said.

The provincial government has issued a written letter to not provide a helicopter for the visit to Dera Ismail Khan to the K-P governor, while the “incompetent spokespersons” of the provincial government are denying the letter issued by their government.

Criticising the provincial government, he said that the rulers who have sent Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province’s debt soaring from Rs97 billion to Rs900 billion have to answer how the billions of rupees that came in the form of debt relief and to fight corona were spent.
