Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit teams arrested 48 suspects accused of theft and robbery and seized five motorcycles, five mobile phones and thousands of rupees in cash from their possession during the last week.

SP Toqeer Naeem assessed the performance of Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit and said that immediate response was performed on 1,917 calls received on the helpline. He further informed that over 300,000 persons were checked, while nine pistols, rifles, magazines and ammunition were seized during an ongoing crackdown on weapons.

Sixteen bottles of alcohol and undisclosed quantities of hashish and heroin were recovered during the anti-narcotics operation. Additionally, 32 advertisers and 58 habitual criminals were arrested, while 74 fugitives were also detained during patrols.
