Edward Melik Esq. | 2 years ago | Reply I left Pakistan at the age of 15 and have been living in the USA since last 50 years working as an attorney My paternal village named Nathot is an insignificant tiny village in Jhelum which I have never visited and don t even know my closest relatives. But I have been involved on several anti-corruption investigative journalism projects. Investigations conducted by the Corruption Watch Amnesty International Transparency International etc. have repeatedly witnessed an uninterrupted corruption starting from the local Police to the highest ministerial levels have not changed despite repeated lip service by the Police or the Home Ministry among others. There s a small police station in village named Domeli which has earned the reputation among the surrounding villages as the most corrupt Police Station in the District of Sohawa. SHOs have been reshuffled without any tangible results in curbing the corruption in Punjab Police. I hope more people with first hand experience and knowledge of Police Corruption must speak out to make people aware of this national menace.
