Sindh Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Wednesday that the Sindh government's special focus is on the rehabilitation of flood hit areas where irrigation, public health engineering departments and district administrations are working day and night to drain out the flood water.

He said that Sindh chief minister is personally monitoring all the activities.

Sharjeel said that survey of affected crops is under way so as to provide financial assistance to farmers at a rate of Rs5,000 per acre so that they could prepare their lands for next crop.

He said that survey is being conducted at tappa level for which 4,048 teams have been formed comprising the officials of agriculture and revenue departments.
