Public parking lot to be constructed in Rawalpindi

Instructions were given to demolish any unauthorised buildings standing on RDA-owned property

RAWALPINDI:

The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) will construct a public parking lot on a five-Kanal land worth millions of rupees.

In this regard, instructions were given to demolish any unauthorised buildings standing on RDA-owned property.

According to sources, this land is located in Mohanpura Housing Scheme opposite Novelty Cinema Rawalpindi. Director General Rawalpindi Development Authority Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa visited the five-kanal open space and directed RDA to start building a boundary wall on this vacant land on an immediate basis to facilitate residents so that they could easily park their automobiles and motorbikes.

Director State Management Muhammad Asif Janjua, Director Engineering Aam Rasheed, Deputy Director Engineering Aziz Ullah, and other staff were also present.
