Women of the district were provided with an opportunity at an art and craft exhibition to display their talent.
The main purpose of the exhibition was to highlight the culture of Thal.
This unique exhibition featured different types of stalls. There was a large turnout of women at the event which showed their enthusiasm.
The exhibition provided a breath of fresh air for the people of the district.
Apart from a variety of stalls and a food court, various hand-made household items made by women, including garments, artificial jewelry and swings for children were displayed at the exhibition. A large number of those items were bought by the visitors.
During the event, schoolchildren presented a tableau and offered special prayers for the martyrs of the Army Public School (APS). Candles were also lit in their memory. The Commissioner of Sargodha, Maryam Khan, also visited the expo and termed it a successful event, a worthy example for other districts.
