It would be fair to call the FIFA World Cup final a rollercoaster ride for how competitive and thrilling the match was. However, local celebrities had their gaze locked in on Argentina, mainly Lionel Messi. As soon as the blue shirts won the final, the bird app was full of congratulations for the “GOAT” with pictures of him kissing the trophy plastered on all social media sites.

Actors Ayesha Omar, Asim Azhar, Mahira Khan, Ayeza Khan, and Shaan Shahid, among others, took to their social media to congratulate the team and praise Messi for being the ultimate “World Cup winner.”

Mawra posted a picture of the stadium on Instagram and wrote, “Congratulations Argentina. Congratulations Messi. What a game!”

She also sent his love to Kylian Mbappe for all his efforts throughout the game.

The Ghalat Fehmi singer, a true sports enthusiast, took to Twitter and called the Sunday match “the best World Cup final ever!” and added that Messi is a real World Cup winner. “The greatest player of all time,” read his tweet.

Mahira Khan, who attended the semi-final in Qatar, took to the micro-blogging site and praised Qatar for pulling off the World Cup so well.
