Back in 2012, a fake passport in the name of actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was found in Gujrat. A decade later, the Bollywood star has yet again fallen prey to the same. A counterfeit passport of Aishwarya was recently found by the Uttar Pradesh police.

According to Times of India, three suspects were identified as the culprits and have now been detained. The gang, which has a history of fraud, was previously allegedly engaged in a scam scheme involving a pharmaceutical firm.

As per reports, the forged passport had Aishwarya's picture on it. The birth date was April 18, 1990, and the birthplace was listed as Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The defendants were also found to be in possession of INR248, 200, counterfeit money worth INR11 crore, and other equipment by the police. The police have begun an investigation to find out how many phony documents of renowned people the gang has created in the past.

The group has reportedly also been using dating apps and matrimony websites to deceive people. They also have a retired colonel working with them. The Abbott Pharmaceuticals Company was one of the firms that the men were trying to impersonate in order to perpetrate fraud, according to information provided to the police.

Additionally, they conned the retired colonel into purchasing Kolanat so they could produce a breast cancer drug. The accused who were taken into custody lacked both passports and visas. It is unknown what part the passport played in their scam.
