Are we going to hear wedding bells from Bollywood soon? According to Filmfare, one of Indian cinema’s most sought-after onscreen couples, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, is finally ready to tie the knot in real life! However, the duo is yet to confirm the exciting news.
As per the aforementioned publication, it is also confirmed that the wedding will take place in Chandigarh, India, the joint capital of the two neighbouring states of Punjab and Haryana. Prior to this, it was assumed that the wedding will take place in Goa. But it appears that the pair chose Chandigarh keeping Malhotra’s Punjabi relatives in mind.
Advani and Malhotra's romance has long grabbed eyeballs amongst fans. The two have been spotted together multiple times but have never publically confirmed their relationship. Therefore, amidst the rumours, the duo has garnered a more prominent spotlight in the media as fans await an official announcement from them.
In August 2022, Advani appeared on Koffee with Karan and admitted that the two were more than just close friends. Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor, who accompanied Advani on the show, tugged her leg and quipped, "There's a big announcement coming by the end of the year, and it's not a movie!"
The actors purportedly met while filming Shershaah in 2021. The film debuted to rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Ever since then, fans have been envisioning a real wedding for their favourite on-screen couple.
