Pakistan Rangers Sindh and police in a joint intelligence-based operation on Monday arrested a suspect involved in drug trafficking and possessing illegal arms. According to a spokesman for Rangers, three 9mm pistols, two 12 gauge shotguns, 148 bullets besides 2kgs of hashish, 19 grammes of ice drug, 25 grammes of cocaine and ecstasy pills were recovered from the suspect Shahrukh.

As per police, Shahrukh has 'high-end' customers in the upscale localities of DHA and Clifton where he makes home deliveries of narcotics on cash-on-delivery (COD) basis.

Separately, ix unidentified armed suspects riding two motorcycles took away a valuable vehicle, two mobile phones and documents including property registration papers from Dua Jan, a resident of Superhighway Quetta Town, at gunpoint near North Nazimabad Block N. People's Chowrangi within the limits of Taimuria police station.

The armed accused also fled with the licensed 9mm pistol of the citizen kept in the vehicle. The citizen has registered a case of his car being stolen within the limit of the Taimuria police station. Police officials said that the incident had been reported and the accused was involved in the police incident. Raids are being conducted to arrest. The police said that the accused would be arrested soon.
